Broadway Grand Rapids Debuts The Wizard Of Oz April 22, 2014

For 26 years Broadway Grand Rapids has been bringing a touch of New York City to Michigan! Their current season is packed with another year of wonderful shows, such as Mama Mia! and Lily Tomlin’s Laugh Fest. Right now, though, it’s almost time to grab your ruby slippers, jump on your bike, and ride off to Oz as the iconic story of Dorothy and her friends is brought to life at the DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids. The Wizard Of Oz debuts April 22 and is scheduled to run through April 27. Tickets start at just $32, so bring the whole family out for a magical time!

The Wizard Of Oz stage show includes all of the beloved songs from the award-winning movie, as well as some original songs for the stage performances. The traveling tour is sure to entertain those individuals who are familiar with the movie, while also introducing new generations to the Emerald City and showing them the importance of home. The tour has been receiving rave reviews and is designed with families in mind. The child friendly story and performances are sure to entertain all of the munchkins in your life.
